Beard and mustache transplantation is an important, tender process. It requires experience.
Firstly, patient is interviewed and it is determined what type of beard/mustache he wants. Then, anesthesia is performed. Here, FUs taken from the hairy area by FUE or FUT method are implanted on the patient’s face or the area where beard and mustache were drawn as requested through the channels opened beforehand with very sensitive, special knives at 15-20 degrees.
Patients may experience difficulty closing their lips or swallowing in the first few days due to anesthesia. Average recovery time is 7 days.
